In a world where pyromancers are sentenced to death, Sunnvia survives by hiding in plain sight. When her best friend, Bylur, discovers her magic, she flees to avoid the wrath of the Elemental Circle. An island village off the coast of Asparia, where others have begun fighting back, gives her refuge. She joins the rebellion to protect her people, even if that means fighting against the very man she's loved since childhood.
